after this holiday training i want to be able to have a higher percentage to scroing by shooting so i have to work hard. also i want be to be able to jump higher because i jump quite low now.also by the end of this holiday i want to be able to run fast for a long period of time because it seems that i have slacked a lot.i also want to be able to dribble the ball better by the end of this holiday by training maybe more basic skill.last but not least i want to be fitter and be able to help me teammates score.

i always never really thought about what i want to achieve after the holiday training . i took a week time to think after i know what to name this essay .

i went to play basketball with my friends and found out that th shooting of my hands had always been making th curve on the ball . This stops my ball from flying straight , instead , it formed an arc . Since then , i want to improve my shooting for far distance balls . My hands always get numb when i shoot the ball with too much strength and i dont have the strength to shoot a three-point shot . I had always wanted my hands to be strong enough to shoot a three-point ball without any difficulty . I also want to jump higher in order to block all shots of my opponent's . The last thing i want to achieve after my holiday training is that to be better in my basic moves and also to achieve everything i aim to have or do .

Hello everyone Yee Loong here. Today i am going to share with you what do i want to achieve during the holidays. I have 2 things in mind. Firstly, is to get ready for sec 3 because all the work that is done in sec 3 is useful for o levels. I will need to study a little of the topics next year so that when teacher is teaching, i can understand the topic or section better. Secondly, is to improve on my basketball skills. I will want to achieve the perfect posture for shooting after the holidays. I will also improve on my defense so that people cannot penetrate through me easily. What i want to achieve during the holidays? I would want to be the best Rebounder. I would like to work hard in my box out as box out is very important. At first i did not know that box out was important but as i met tall opponents i started to know how important box out was. I wish at the upcoming trip to Malacca i would take as many rebounds as i can. I also want to improve in my shooting as i could also take outside shots. I need train my finishing and my shooting posture. I need to have a higher shooting percentage. At least more than 70%. I need to take this trip seriously for my upcoming B Division Tournament. I would fight hard in this upcoming trip. I would fight for my target which is road to national. I wish to have a fun and enjoable trip this year and would not regret this trip. Hello all. Benedict Ong here ^^. During this holiday, I wish that my shooting and under-basket will improve. For a center, under basket is very important, but i prefer to shoot the ball rather than doing center move. I will spend some of my time practising basketball skills with my basketball mates. I will seldom call out some of the basketball mates to practise together. Practise makes perfect, so we should upgrade ourselves by practicing more so that we will not stop at that level while others have reached a higher level. Hi oscar here, this holiday I am going to improve on my shooting accuracy and dribbling as those areas really need improvement. This holiday I will be focusing on these two things and I hope to improve by end of the holidays I will start training my shooting by going out with my friends to play basketball there I will be able to train my shooting as well as play with them as for dribbling I can bring my basketball down and practice. So after the holidays I really hope that I will improve in these areas and get into next years c’boys team and even better the main 5!If I improve my shooting percentage on court I will be able to help the team score more points if we are up against a team who is strong in defence so that would really help a lot. When my dribbling improves I will be able to get pass stronger defenders and that would be really fun. However all these won’t happen if I don’t start training now so the holidays are really a good time for me to start training. That’s all I am going to write for now.

The things I wanna achieve by end of holiday
During this holiday, I wish that my shooting will be better and i'll be better in defence. For me, I feel that my shooting accuracy is not good as I did not practice during my free time. I wish to achieve a better accuracy by this holiday. How do I improve my shooting? I'd practice during my freetime, I'll fork out some time to practice and I'd find time with friends to practice. I'll spend more time on shooting when going out to play basketball. I'll train seriously in the court during training, be serious of every ball that i shoot. I wanna practice my shooting till I can shoot 8/10 free throws.
As for my defence, I feel that I should be more hardworking during training when we're training on it. I feel that my defence aren't good, and I think that I must spend more time training. I wanna defend very good player in the court which I can't achieve now, I wanna defend them till they can't pass half court :P. The things that I want to achieve this holiday.
There are a lot of things I want to achieve during the holiday, firstly I am going to share with all of u what is the number one thing I want to achieve, I want to have a better accuracy for my three point , at least make a 3/5 whenever I take 5 shot. I want to improve a bit more on my stamina although I know it may be impossible but I am willing to try. I must practice more on my shooting to achieve the first item. The second thing I want to achieve is my school work, not only I want all of my holiday homework to be completed, I want to revise on subject that I am weak at for example, my combined science and English. Thirdly, I want to make sure that my health will be a better condition. I will be seeking for doctors soon. To achieve this, I must make sure that I take a rest whenever I feel tired. Why I want to achieve my last item, it is because I don’t really want my parents to worry that much. Why I want to achieve my second item, because next year is my o level, I am lucky I am promoted to 4 express so I want to achieve it. Why I want to achieve my first item, it is because next year will be my last year playing my b division, after b division I know that my secondary life is kind of over although I still got an o level to take. The things that I am going to achieve this holidays.
Karstin here and I will be sharing with u what is the things I hope to achieve during this holidays. First, of course, I hope that my injuries will fully recover and stop getting injured.. Secondly, I hope to get back my stamina because I haven been training for quite a long time due to my injuries.. I wan to improve my center moves and my defend!! From the lack of training, I have not been playing any basketball and didn’t have the time to train my center moves.. because everytime during a official match or a friendly game, I find it difficult to score under basket as I’m not very tall and all I have is size.. but I still dun really know how to use it.. due to my weight, I can’t jump high either. So I really hope to improve my center moves so. I must also improve in my defend.. cause due to my huge body, my body cannot move fast or even react fast enough to defend the opponent.
The solution to improve my center move is to ask tips from either my seniors or my coach and practice it and use it on matches.. As for my defend I will start by training my stamina and train my speed as well.. And of course, I hope to slim down during this holiday and not gain weight.. That’s all I’m going to write.. Hello everyone. Andy here. This holidays, i want my shooting accuracy and defense to be better. I am trying to practice at my shooting as my shooting never 'ba wo' even it is near 2 point. Everytime i missed, i felt so pissed off. I am training my 3points shooting as i think that once i in the ball i felt so proud of myself :D However, during training when we playing 5v5, either i don't dare to shoot or i miss that shot. I want to shoot in every ball during competition and friendly match. Everytime we go for our team play on court, if we missed 1 ball, it will be a waste of energy for my teammates running on court. And our opponent will have a turn over and make the score a easy basket. I don't want to lose the game just because of our team forward's shooting percentage is low. My defense must improve too. As my defense was not good enough for me. I seldom commuicate with my teammates too. This make my defense more worst. I want to communicate more with my teammates and improve my defense indirectly too.
The solution to make me achieve th things i want can only keep on practicing. I could go to my house nearby public court to practice my shooting. As for my defense, i should do some physical for my leg in order to make me get use to the tireness when defending. Thats all i want to write. Bye. (:

i admire my physics teacher, Mr Chia. He is a very kind and wonderful teacher . Even though i always make troubles and problems for him , but that doesn't mean i think that he is not a kind and wonderful teacher . He encourages me when i got very bad results for my mid-year examination . I still remember the sentence that he told me , " Boon Chiong , i think you can do it . I hope you can change your attitude towards studies " . With this sentence , i felt so encourage .

The moment i heard this sentence , i felt that someone is giving me hope , someone believing in me . Having this said , i had started to study hard and my test are starting to improve . i feel happy to see my test improving . When my focus test results came out , my teacher told me that i got the second in the whole level , i was shocked . I cannot believe that i got second in the whole level . The person i admire most is my captain 'jia man'. Ever since when i met him, he was asking people to join basketball. When i saw him playing basketball so cool so i wanted to join basketball. On the first training, as i was so tried , i finally saw his true colours. He was encourage me to endure and move on , because of this i admire him. The person i admire the most is jiaman, his sheer determination and endurance always make me idolise him, ever since sec 1, when we first met, i still tought of him as a china guy, but little did i know, as the saying goes u cant judge a book by it's a cover, he's such a great basketball player. And when we first met, his first question to me was, "what cca are you going to join" and i was i like; "i dont know". And so than our journey begin, we joined the basketball team, trained together. He was made the captain of the team, in the first place i sort of object because at that time he was such a show off, but as time goes by, he really prove that he can lead this team, but sometimes i feel that he's like a tree, always standing still unable to move left and right, he always go "law by law" one. Haha, his stupidity could make us all laugh, but he's a great captain, after a c'div defeat to 3 schools during the 2nd round, everybody broke down, but he still encouraged us to move on till the b'divison, he's gonna play for his final year, next year and i hope to fufill his wish to get west zone top 4. I admire Yao Ming the most because he was the first china pro basketballer and international player to be drafted into the national basketball association (NBA). The person I admire the most is a NBA player, Yao Ming. He is 2.29m tall and is currently the tallest NBA player who plays for Houston Rockets. the person i admire most..the person i admire most is non other than my coach. when i first come to jurong west secondary school, i did not know how to play basketball. when i made it into the basketball CCA, i was very happy as it wont be easy for my begining skill to go into it. the sad thing was others who was also in the team are mostly skilled players. my thought that time was never going to make it into the school team and fight for my school. sec 1, i did not manage to get it into the team but i did not feel sad about it because i understand that i need to work more harder. but the coaching from coach change my thought of not being able to reach the standard to fight for the school. whenever i was going to give up during the tough trainings, coach always push us to endure and do better. to that, it really help alot and i manage to go through it. while time passes by, i don't know what others might think, i felt that i had become much more better than when i first join the team. coach was able to train someone from don't know basketball at all to someone who can play quite well. sec 2 was the first year i made it into the team and fight for my school. i was very happy and all thanks to coach for training me. i will continue to work hard and i believe with coach around training us, i would be able to become a better player and make it into the B division team and fight for the school again next year.

The person I admire most, he is a Point Guard from Newton, Lor Weng Siang. This is the last year he will be playing for Newton Secondary. He not only a strong player, he trusted his teammates well. After my B division, I was encouraged to watch him play; I thought he was not a very good player. When I watch him play, I was shocked. He is not only a all rounder, he trust his teammates well because he knew they will scored the point, even if they did not score, he will encouraged them. When he fell down on the floor, his teammates will help him up. I thought that Newton won’t win Jurong at first, because Jurong was leading. There was a part when the shooter of Jurong was on fire but he continued to push his team to do better. In the end, when the match was going to end, he played with all his strength left. He gave me the thought that he will never give up even he was losing 100 points. He gave a hope to his teammates that they can get into the semi-final. I hope I can be the same as him, but I am going to do with my own way to lead my team for the competition next year.

The person i admire most is my Life Saving Coach Mr Lee. I was asissiting cum learning from him for 4 wonderful years. When i first came for my lesson i did not no anyone. Because all my swimming friends studied the course far away since they stayed there and its near their house. My lesson took place at Bukit Batok Swimming Complex, 7.30pm, on saturday. Then slowly i get to know my coach better. Then as day passed by he thought that i had the potential teach some of the beginners. He always jokes whenever he teaches me something. He taught the secrets of swimming and ways to swim fast. He is a jovial and strict person. For him safety is always first. Whenever there is a new comer he would ask me to teach them the basics. So it would be easier for him to teach as he do not have to teach both sides. I have always been helping teach the beginners which was easier for him. I was the youngest boy to take the Lifeguard certificate. Now i am just waiting for my age as i was to young to be a lieguard. Thats how fast i have learn from Mr Lee. I wish him a happy life in the future.

Hello, I am Wei Sen here. The person I admire most is my English teacher, Mr Prabhu. Why do I say I admire him most? It is because during lesson time, although our class kept making alot of noise and kept on fooling around in class. Mr Prabhu didn't give up on us, he has a positive attitude and he ask us to study and stop playing and fooling around. He didn't gave us up when we're not following his instructions and not keeping quiet that cause him not to carry out his lessons. Sometimes, I'm quite guilty of making noise when I think of it, what benefits us afterall? Yeah , we do have some fun talking in class as lessons sometimes are dry and boring, but at the end the one getting results is me. The teacher got his salary whether or not I promote to sec3, he still got his same old pay. But for us, we will regret after we got our results in future. Mr Prabhu really made the effort to ask everyone stop talking and I also can see that he is really trying very hard to control the class. But our class is really being not respectful to him. Our class ignored his teaching and carry on talking every lesson. Starting of the year , I am very happy because got Mr Prabhu lesson, it is like a free period for us everytime. But thinking back now, I'm really stupid. Wasting every minute of my English lesson time. So now, I think its time for me to buck up. Although our class is noisy and playful, every lesson he will not carry out his lesson untill he has asked everyone to remain quiet. He did not stop asking us to keep quiet until the class stop making noise. His attitude towards teacher really make me admire him alot. Although I made noise during his lesson sometimes, but I told myself that since this teacher had tried so much to teach, if I keep on making noise making him can't teach, I'm really unfair to the teacher. So from now on, I'll listen to his lesson and stop making extra noises. Mr Prabhu's attitude really make me admire him, his attitude towards teaching and his perserverence in teaching shows that. He did not give up if a class is over noisy and a class that is fooling around every lesson, he tried his best to ask the class to stop making noise as he wants to continue his lesson. Hello. I am Yee Loong from 2E3. Today, i am going to share with you the person i admire most. The person i admire most is Barack Obama. The president of the United States.

Last year, i saw him on television but i did not care much as i did not know why he appeared on television but after a while, i started to find out that he was trying to become the 44th president of the united states.

What attracted me most of him was the way he speak. Before the elections in november 2008, there was a presidential debate between him and John McCain. Based on the topics given, obama gave more thoughts about the United States while John McCain did not.

During election day, he won the election for the president with a percentage of 52.9% to 45.7%. I was happy for him and i think that he derserve it. He was the first African American person to become a president.

Now, people in the United states are leading a good life because of his presidency compared to George W. Bush. He still gives speeches and i will listen to it when i have the time to do it.

Hello everyone, i am Andy. The person i admire the most is michael jackson. Although he die already, i still listens to his songs. His songs is very nice and his dancing makes me feel high. He can dance and sing very well, i think no one in the world will be better than him!

I cannot sing very well or dance, i love to watch people sing and dance. I hope can go and learn dancing and dance like michael jackson. :D I should go and create my own move like him.

However, if i know him, i would ask him why he like children so much. Some more is BOY!-.- When i was in primary school there was news about he treat small boy for lollipop and bring them go his house play. Then play until become molest them. o.o Fun meh liddat? 4 Years In Basketball

4yrs worth of memories

Erm I am here today to do wad? Blog of course lah… but actually nt. I am here mainly to share with u my pass 4 yrs in jwss Basball I will also write about my mates [sry if I never say about most of u as I did nt have enough time to do so. If I could then these essay will at least be minimum of 100pgs xD. I hope u all understand] . Things that I say u all may think is exaggerating [well that’s ur opinion…] but to me, deep in my heart, everything I say is true. And just to warn u, even though my ‘essay’ is nt 100+ pages, still I will be sharing some of the event in my 4yrs basball life. So there ought to be at least 2-3 pages full. U can choose nt to read if u wan. [well the choice is urs].

When I was sec1, I heard from a lot of ppl that basball is a Tough CCA. In addition, they say that the teacher suck even more… as in strict and loud voice. However, as I am a very active boy who likes to run, telling me to stand still for 5 min is like hell to me. Plus I had a senior Jun Jie who was in basball. Therefore after some consideration, I decided to join basball. At that time, joinin basball is easy as a lot of ppl fear the teacher in charge [Mr So] the chances to be in basball is high.

Basball was sure tough. After some fake trainings in the first few weeks, there were also morning run everyday. OMG! Had to run everyday, so tiring. Although it is very tiring, I always think of the bright side, which is no ned to go to hall and sit down and read for 30 mins. As u know, I hate siting down for even a short period of time, my legs will go numb. Therefore having morning run is a blissin in disguise. I also look forward for morning run as I am a person who likes to win, [being first and act around boastin how fast I am], and I like breakin new records to Act around more lolls.

The first few days in basball, we get to know our teachers and coach. At that time, I felt so lucky as there was a coach for boys n nt Mr So as I saw how he shout at ppl before. Kendy was our boys coach n Mr So girls’ coach. Life was easy during the first few weeks. A lot of games and fun things. After that period of happiness thinking that we were in a wonderland, training started to change… It was so tough ,fierce + there is a lot of things we are nt sure of [mainly the surrounding and teachers and teammates]. Everywhere I go, wad I do, I am so scare that I may get punished. + training is sure tough. I always gt blamed by senior for makin the whole team do punishment under the hot sun [eg just missin 1 lay up all ppl do 10 pushup]. I felt so bad and angry as they keep in a way insultin me. I hate them to the core. Eventhough trainin was tough, I felt that i can manage it as I gt quite some stamina, the hot and heaty sun really drain our energy away. And u will nv know when u get scold by Mr So as he is so Fierce… Life was so hard, and ppl starts quiting. However I feel that I still can manage thus I decide to continue.

Due to those peer pressure of blamin me all the time, I really wanted to prove them I am gd and nt the blacksheep in the team, therefore I decided to go blk 800+ to play basketball every 1,3,5 . thus there is some slight improvement in me and some ‘Bad’ senior acted encouraging me when I scored the ball. When I did nt score an easy ball, they will say Bao Wor! In a very sarcastic way. I hate it. However, that’s the time I get to know some frens that are also lousy in basball. We even go out to 800+ to play basball together. I still vividly remember at that time when I could do abit of layups, I keep askin my teammates for 1v1 as I wan to prove myself and them that I am better. I really suck in my character that time. There was once where I fight with shue jia becaz of 1v1, he punch my head and I retaliated xD. Fought with Bernard before. Also some other mates but I cant remember it haha. Don’t blame us as we were still childish and cant accept losing. However we manage to patch up throught trainings. From cold war to little talks and then Yea frens. Haha childish that we are and it was ez to patch up lolls.

Sec 2, a new teacher in charge came to basball… name [ Mdm Tan]. She was kind, caring and the most passionate to basball teacher in charge than all before. Well that’s gd …
As u all know, we won the west zone top 4, in fact 3rd, and we a skool that just started basball CCA 3yrs… And gd thing is that mr so and coach kendy is a senior basball player thus they are gd in teachin balls. They also set their hopes high, thus bad for us as training = Fierce. As at that time, I wasn’t 1 of the worst players therefore life in BB is ok. Every1 started to be serious in training and never gave up no matter how hard is the training. Even after we vomited, we continued the training. Every 1 had a common goal in mind, as sec1 prove that it is easy to get into top 4 as long as we put in more effort than other skools. I know that I know most of the mates well as I am getting better in skills and I could communicate easier as me mates could nt insult me anymore. We all been through a lot of Hell training, camps, 10 km run, sleep together, played together, laugh, and talk together. Our bonds are getting better every seconds. We started nt to think how hard is training and started to enjoy and strive hard during training. Mr So can be jokeful at times making jokes of ppl in our team and make others laugh. My idea of him had started to change too. OO maybe I am maturing? Lolls jkjk xD.

The camps were fun. We organized everything ourself. Though we may swear a lot in terms of bad word to Mr So as it is so troublesome, we learnt a lot of skills at the end of it. I learn from the teachers and coach that teamwork is the ultimately important thing. U cant win a game by soloing no matter how gd u are. They also tought us to be a person of gd character, [which is now wad I am]. Trough camps and hell trainings, maybe the sweat and blood we shred on the court bonded us making our relationship to be better. We even had things like San Jian Pai [Chinese] me Bernard and mack. Thinking when we team up, we are unstoppable. Hahas that was fun.

Even though we had strong bonds, we are still childish and immature at times. I remembered that during sec2, there wasn’t any match in games that I nv quarrel with mack. Maybe we think nt alike or so. And everytime I miss a layup, he will purposely shout in front of coach, teammates and other ppl to tell me to Bao Wor sarcastically. Therefore whenever he miss, I will do back the same and make him MarLu. This is how and why we cant get together during a match. [plus his words are hard to understand, nt clear… callin formation I Swear I only look at his hand and nt using my ears]. However after the match, we will qurral abit talking about wad mistake each other did, then back to gd frens hehe.

Sec 3, another yr with our senior. We decided to fight hard to clench top 4 like before. However we end up first round knock out due to lousy draw… they were sure sad and I felt sry to them…[ by the way, through trainings and camps, relationship with every1 even seniors are better thus they were nt wad I think they were before. They were gd deep down] however, life stills goes on. We cant change anything that we had done. Thus I told myself that we will get top 4 next yr to show ppl that jurong west is nt a lousy skool. And yes most of us already had a different views towards our teachers and coach as time we spend together is sure challenging and longer, more than other CCAs. And we, the teammates, seniors, always go out to boon lay CC play 5v5… we really did spend our time together truly. Then it was time for us to depart with the seniors. I hope they remember the time we spend together. It was precious to us.

Sec 4, Guess wad? First round knock out again… blame on ourself that we are nt up to the standard of a B division boys. However I lost with no regret as I knew I did my best. Though is was so sad and having a sucky feeling in my heart. I still cant believe wad we did all days extra, none other basball skool had.[morning run] I always put In my best effort when there is timing run. I went to Gym with mates for extra physical trainings. Still, a lost is a lost and we are forced to accept it. Mr Ali another teacher in charge also joined us. He was nt bad too haha. And now time Flys In a blinking of an eye. Today is the day I am officially out of basball. Yeah, can hav relationship with pretty girls lolls. However I did not feel very happy about this. It seem for me that I am more sad then being elated. And this my be the last time I will be using this blog. Thus I am here to express myself abt this Team ,CCA.

Firstly, I would wan to share with u my thoughts on my coach and teachers.

Mr So  at first, bad impression on him as he scold ppl so LOUD and scary. But then as time passes by, maybe becaz of me getting mature, or maybe other factors, deep In my heart, I knew that wad he always did is for our own good and cares a lot for us. He even spent more time on us than his own family. Even when he punished us, scold us, it is to teach us and all is for our own good. He is also very helpful at times when needed. He will also encourage us even when during a match when we miss an easy layup, he will still shout Gd try. He taught us all the characters to be a gd student. He is the 1 that makes basball a CCA nt only playing balls, but also Other different life skills. Thank u!

Mdm Tan  she is helpful, caring and wonderful. She always encourage us, and she will always be the 1 chasing us for reasons of [eg Y u late of training? Y u morning run so late? Y u nv show me ur MC, Y this Y that T.T”] but actually all she did was becaz she fear we may be in some danger that’s y late of something. She is also the person who helps us patch up with mr so when he is angry at us. She will also giv us ideas and ways to apologize to teachers that we did something wrong to. And she is the person who helps us to ‘skip’ lesson, no let me rephrase, help us let other teachers know that we hav maybe, matches thus ned to leave lesson earlier. Thank u!

Coach Kendy  A coach that likes to Act fierce but kind and hates to scold deep inside. The person that is willing to spend his precious time on us even when there is no or little pay for him. He always wish that we could win so training will always be tough. He rather be a bad person like mr so and act fierce on us for the better of us. Xi Shen Siao Wo, Wan Cheng Da Wo. However when out of training time, he always had wonderful stories for us and also joke with us. He also always joined our camps and helps build up our teams bondings. He is a wonderful and gd coach that is willing to spend his time coaching lousy ppl into very gd players.[ from stone rub till golden nail]. Thank u!

I wanted to add on that I am a person who hates to ‘Carry teachers to make my life easier’. To me this is a very lowly act on par with inhumans. However those words that I written are the true feelings I feel to them deep within my heart. And I am nt trying to boast abt them to make me a gd student…

I just wanted to write this essay [nt essay, true life story] as they really make my 4yrs in jwss a very wonderful experiences in my life, [Duo Zi Duo Cai] full of colours and Sparks. Todae, I going to write about the person I admire the most in my life. The person is no other than my favorite NBA basketballer ALLEN IVERSON!!! THE ANSWER!!! He is a great player which he change my mind of playing basketball. In the beginning in joining basketball, actually I had no idea why I should join this sport, mayb juz becuz it was a slack cca bah? Or mayb basketball is a veri ZAI de cca? Or don’t ned to do marching in the parade square bah. After joining this cca, my nightmare startled! Everyone must wear PE attire to sch for m.run. run until leg cramp… ( LOLS!) during training tuesdae & thurdae even worse! Training under de hot sun! as if de sunlight is FOC lik tat, darm hot nia. Juz as I about to quit this cca and farewell to de team, sth had caught my eye!

One particular dae, as I staying at hme watching tv, I eventually switch to ESPN channel watching NBA. I can remember tat the match was between Chicago bulls vs Denver nuggets. Iverson was playing for nuggets ( last season ). Although in de end my favorite NBA nuggets had lost de game but I can see tat Iverson did not giv up in this match and fight till the end. His determination really impressed mi a lot, not onli he was one of de shortest player in de NBA, his hardworking attitude also shows me tat nothing was impossible unless we willing to strive for our aim! He also wn the MVP award in 2001 when he played for 76sters. He deserved this award moer than others becuz he had a positive attitude in playing basketball, which aer gd communiation wif his teammates as well as he did overcome every challenge he faced and did not giv up easily.

Until todae, he still continue hie career in NBA for Detroit pistons. 1 more thing tat I admire him most is tat although he now 30+ , he still continue playing basketball. Hope tat he able to select as a MVP player of de season juz lik in year 2001.

Hi everyone , I am Choon Kwang here and I'm going to post some message. As you know , 1 month ago, I got hospitalise for 4 days 3 nights in an ominous ward with lights that aren't strong. However I manage to survival with it. After I was discharged , I got warned that I cannot do any physical activities for 6 weeks only. At the point of time I felt abit sad because I love physical activities alot and 6 weeks with no physical activities is going to be very long and boring life for me. However some of my teammates , told me that health is more important then without physical activities. That's make sense and I tried to change my feeling toward that "6 weeks physical activities MC". Not only that , I received alot of hand written letter which is all wishing me to get well soon, and seriously I have not threw that away yet and I kept them in my file! So I was excuse from all basketball activities including , not going to training. Nevertheless, sometime I still stay back to chat with my teammates and try to know what they had do in the training.

But after the last checkup , the 6 weeks MC seem to be evolving to sometime else , which is the reason that I have to leave the team. When I heard that I needs to leave the team , I wasn't feeling good , and also don't know how to react to the situation. No words could express the secret agony of my soul.

The next day , I glanced at the office apprehensively, then I went to find Mdm Tan and told her my condition. At the moment , I don't really know how to react , not because I am afraid but more likely excruciating.

Now I guess you might be asking what CCA will I be going next. So let me tell you , my new CCA is Art Club. However I will not forget my team and the teachers/coach that had taught me.

Lastly I will like to thanks Mdm Tan for letting me to have the opportunity to create this blog , her sharing about the course she went last year(The attitude, choices) and her effort of handling the team.

I will also like to thanks Mr So and Coach for letting us learn our mistake by punishing us , teaching me on how to play basketball better , his sharing of thought and all his effort of handling the team.

I will also like to thanks Mr Ali for sharing his thought for us , and effort of handling the team.

And not forgetting my teammates , I will like to thanks everyone for letting me to know you , your kind attitude towards me , your extra teaching , your scolding for my mistake and skill you allows me to learn.

B Boys Reflection.

This was my final year in taking part in a basketball tournament at secondary school level and it ended empty-handed... the reason for this might be we were over-confident, looked down on the opposing team and some of the players did not put their heart in it to play. For all this reason, we were being knocked out in the first round and i felt really disappointed and bitter by it. But overall, i enjoyed the process which our schoolmates came down after school especially to cheer us on and there was team talk before every game which everyone must say words that are encouraging. I must also gave credit to the people sitting on the bench whereby we would shout 'defend' to boost up the morale of the people playing on the court. I had really enjoyed this experience which i will treasure this forever as money cannot buy such things.

During this b boys tournament, even though we had all our team talks before the match it was still not enough. We lost so many games that we have so much chance of winning like hua yi and fajar but however i feel that through these games i feel that even throughout the 3 years together we still lack of a lot of communication on court. It was a disappointing that we were knock out in the first round during my last b boys. However, i know that everyone have did their best. I hope that we could have another chance to play together as a team in another tournament.

The person i admire most is my sister. Even though she is very annoying and everytime quarrel with me over stupid matters, but all siblings are suppose to be like that. She teach me in my studies when i have any doubts and even though she is can't help much because we are studying different thing and sometimes teach me the wrong things, but she still did her best in teaching me. Even though she is lazy but she is caring, everytime when my mother is not at home she will always go out and help me tabao dinner back let me eat. She even used her first pay to buy a watch for me. I think in the b-boys tournament i enjoy the process a lot because this is the last time i'm playing with them. Although the ending is not what we want but i think all of us enjoyed the process. I also believe that all of us had put in all our effort in the games, at least some of the games. Before every match, mack will give us some encouragement by sending text to us before we sleep so that we could picture in our dreams what must we do the next day, therefore we have the spirit tomorrow, this are example of the effort put in.

I think the person i admire most is myself, because i believe that if you don't know how to admire and love yourself and you won't know how to love and admire others. But there are also many people i admire, such as my parents as they work so hard for me and want me to be someone useful in the future. I also admire my teachers as they got put in a lot of effort in teaching me good characters and academics. My B boys reflection for the year is that i think we are not really prepared before the tournament but during the tournament we shown signs of reselience in our every match. Before every match we will encourage each other to play hard, do not giv up and give in all our best but is still not enough to bring down games.. Till now i personalily still do not know the true reason or reasons behind our loss. But is aready in the past so we cant be thinking about it till now or ever. The reasons i think that is behind our loss is no sense of direction in our team and we do not really the confidents. What important lessons i have learn from this tournament? Many, one of them is all the matches are of very tough fight, but we still fight to the end. Although many mistakes came up during those final moments but i guess is normal as this is all our first time in playing such crucial matches. What i have learn personalily is that the game of basketball HIGHLY depend on the trust in ur teammate, believing in them that they will be right behind u, supporting u or taking the charge infront to lead the way for u. I guess i wont forget this whole experience.

The person i admire the most is Taurian Fontenette, one of the best dunker.
He is a streetball player from Hitchcock, Texas and also a former player on the AND1 Mixtape tour. He also have a nickname called ' Air Up There or Mr. 720 ' he does a 720-dudegree dunk during the AND1 game in Houston, Texas in 2006. He is best known for his jumping and dunking.
He is also well known for his signature dunk, the axle-rider(the 360 between-the-legs).
He was also featured in the ESPN TV Series Streetball from 2005-2006.

The person that I admire most is my mother. She is working hard for us. When she reached home, she still managed to clean the house and ask us if we do already our homeworks. Even if she is tired she still have time for us. She is the only one who have permanent job in our family. My father have a part time job only. I know why my mother works hard for us. She want us to be finish school and to provide basic needs of our family. If she is not working, I wonder how we live today. My mother is very hard-working. Being the eldest child in my family, I know my responsibility. If my parents are not around, I am responsible of taking care of my siblings. I admit that I'm not a good brother, I always tease my siblings and sometimes I am selfish. That's why my mother is always scolding me. My grades are not that high also. I am the one who makes my mother stressful. Hopefully someday I could do better for my mother to be happy. When I have work, I do my best for my mother. If i will have my own family, I will work hard for them also. I will take care of my mother when she grow old. I know that I am very hard-headed but when I grow up and be a father, I will be responsible enough for my family. I don't want my future family to experience poverty. That's the reason why my mother is working hard for us. She wants our future live to be good and progressive. For me, my mother is the best mum of all. She do eveything for us. The person i admired the most is our overall captain Jia Man, Jia Man have always inspired him when i was a sec 1, he was our very dear captain during hard times, he never fails to encourge us whenever we were at the brim of breaking down, his never say die and kept and enduring attitude have always inspired me to be a better player than him, though i always failed him since and i was a sec 1 and again during the c'div of 2008 when i was sec 2, but he's like an idol to me, till now he still keeps on encouraging us, though he maybe stressed up and tired of our messy team, but yet he carries on to lead us, hopefully i will not fail him in his last year, yes top 4 his dream, i hope i can help him achieve it.

Everyone always have admired someone.some of the people admired sportsmen like Micheal Jordan,Wayne Rooney,etc..some admire famous people like our president,prime minister,etc.As for me,the person i admired most is-My mother.The reason i chose my mother as the person i admired most is because i believe and know in my heart that she has done many things for me.Despite my atrocious behaviour,she still carrys on to do things for me without me knowing.She can wear old clothes during Chinese New year but cannot see me wearing old clothes during festive seasons.She can be hungry for the whole day but cannot let me carry on my day with an empty stomach.I remembered once during school day,she already do not have enough money for her three meals for the day,she would rather give the rest of her money and see me able to have my food when i am hungry rather than allowing her to have a full stomach.After that day,i could not express my gratidude towards her as there wasnt any word to express how touched i am..I also believe every single mother on Earth would do exactly the same things my mother has done for me.Upon seeing this,i wouls like to encourage you people to treat your mother better if you have not done so for this years...No matter how bad your mother treats you,her blood still flows in your body.Without her,there will not be you.No matter how bad life is,always remember that there is always two persons behind you-Father and Mother.Their love is infinite.In my opinion,i feel that a child without a mother will never be happier compared to a child without a father.One child can live without a father,but cannot live without a mother.But on top of everything,a complete,happy,warm and cosy family is the best thing in your dear life..Thanks.

The person I admire the most are my parents who is my dad and mum. To me, they are the best parents in the world. There are several reasons why they are the person that I admired the most. They care supportive, kind, caring, thoughtful, helpful, and some what fierce at times. However, I understand that what they did was right and is for my own good.
They will be there to encourage me when I did things badly. Whenever I need to do something or attend things, they didn’t question me or ask me why I need to go for such things. As for studies, whenever I fail my tests, at most they would nag or stop me from using com for some time. Sometimes, out of the blue, they will tell me to do my best in studies but not a must to excel greatly and not to stress myself badly. Sometimes when I did something very wrong, they did not take a cane to beat my like when I was young. They will scold me badly that’s all as they feel that I am old enough to reflect myself.
Although they always told me not to push myself too hard, I could sense that they really hope me to be the best that I can. I, myself also understand that studies are important as it is for my own future. Therefore I told myself that I will strive hard in studies and every other things in my life, not to give up whenever not necessary.
In conclusion, I hope to take this chance to thank my parents for their hard endurance in work and their teachings for me to be a good person. Thank you!

The most I admired is my father. He is a coach, a taiji coach. He everyday need to teach people from morning to night. when I have difficulties he will help me to sort out. When I lost a competition he said never mind next time I can do better. When I’m late for morning run or school he will wake up and help me iron the uniform while I go and bath and even fetch me to school after that. when I was p6 he sent me to a tuition centre, its everyday tuition. Each day different subject. Every time go home very tired. my score before joining the tuition is 150++ but after joining the tuition for months my psle got 200.i thanks my father for take caring and push me all the way to psle to get higher marks. I did not play my best in the first four matches but i played all out in the last match. It is because when i play in the first four matches i have lots of thoughts going on in my mind which is disturbing me for the whole match. At the last match i told myself i will not think of anything and i played quite good. From this i have learn my mistakes not to think of anything when i am playing. I played good in the last match because i did not let them touch the rebound. As coach has said " If you win the rebound you will win the game". We played not bad against Kranji but our defend make us lose the game. We had let them penetrate in to much which cause us to lose. Against Hua Yi and Fajar our attack and defend was not good. I had no rebound and we did not talk in the match. Against Green ridge was not so bad. Because we had defend and we were more active then they were. I should have played good in the first few matches. I think that was why we did not go to second round. Wish all the seniors a bright future next time. Hope you all would come back to school to meet us.

today i am going to tell u the person i admire most it's my mother. let me tell u one thing she can do best she can reapeat the same words everytime i make a mistake and not get tired of it bare in mind almost the saem line everytym. Not only she can do that she can also work lyk 12 hrs at home non-stop cleaning the whole house and washing all my cloths. i remember 1 week when my mother went oversea then i had to bring my home keys everyday and i can only change my cloths like once every 2 day unlike when my mother was here i can wash my cloth everyday and also enjoy having meals cook by her. i almost have to eat outside since she was gone that day.
she also sometime go out in the morning to exercise to keep herself occupied so she will not just do house chores and whatever she cook is delicious i tell u xd.

During the B division tournament, i experienced the loud shouting of everybody supporting the players on the court.
Even though i was sitting with my teammates, i can see that everybody was trying their best.
Their defense was not that good. They missed alot of free throws. During the last match,
I could see that everybody gave their best, they worked hard for every ball, that is
the spirit we must have to get the top 4.

I have been privileged to have had numerous teachers and professors who I respect for their patience and intelligence.
There are artists that have inspired me by their natural talents and original creativity. I value many political leaders,
who have inspired me by their contributions to society, and their ability to change our futures. Of all the people I have
encountered in my life, the person I admire most is my father.Growing up it always made me sad
to see so many of my friends and neighbors without a father or father-like figure around. This helped me appreciate how
my father always takes an interest in his children's lives. To this day, he still professes how proud he is of me and my siblings, and is still there to
support us in whatever we are involved in. In every aspect of my life my father continuously pushes me to excel. Whenever I feel like giving up, or have a question
or a concern, I know I can always call on him for advice. From him I have also learned that sometimes you have to put others needs ahead of your own, but not to the point

The person that I admired most is all NBA star like Lebron James , Michael Jordan, Bryant , Yao Ming and Mo william. The 1st person that i should talk about is yao ming. His story was very nice,and he has the height of about 2.46m tall! I wanted to have the height like him. Although he is not very pro than many player in NBA, but he have to try his best to be the top 10.

Other than tall guy, there is still have a three point shooter, Mo William. He helps Lebron James in Cavaliers. How he help? He was a pro that other team should defend him not to get the ball ,and so Lebron Hames can everytime 1 on 1 with other opponent. Mo good in three point I think.

Next is the legendary player in NBA, Michael Jordan. Obviously I do not know about him much, but if he can be called "legendary", I will praise him. I heard that he was the most professional Player ,and I want to be like him.

Talking about lakers, I would think a person, Bryant. He was a pro for while then after that I do not know about him already.

HI all, i'm Szekiat from class 1N1. The person who i admire most is n0n other then my dearest mother, she was with me since i'm born. She buys food for me when i am hungry, she also help me to pour drinks when i'm thirsty,sometimes she also reprimand me when i am at fault or did something wrong. She also teach me about respect too. She works very hard outside just to save some money for me to spend in school. I treasure and respect her very much.
Althought she may cane or scold me fiercely sometimes but i know that actually in her heart, she cares for me v.much. When i'm young i just simply can't understand why do she nag at me the whole day for just over a small thing. Until now then i realise that actually that all those scoldings and canning are actually helping me to be a better person in future. She even asked me to start doing hsework at the age of 10++, at the point 0f time, i don't understand why do she like to ask me to do hsework when i can't even handle with my own work. Now then i can fully understand her hard work for me. She really works very hard in order to support the hse, so for me to repay her, i'll study hard in school to impress n make her happy. The person that i admire most is my mother.She is hardworking and caring but naggy. She is also a little bias as she would care more on my fat sister.Everyday i reached home i will dump my stinky school uniform and shirt on the sofa or other conspicuous place that my mother will notice,she would find it and wash it that made her stay awake overnight as she needed to dry the clothes up. What i like about my mother is that she kept on nagging non-stop when i made something wrong or i failed my tests so that i can learn my mistakes and did made me a better person.I would always listened to her repeated nags that made me thought that she was senile as i always told her that you have already said the sentence just now, she would reply back saying I am just reminding you. And that naggings would make me awake as i always very stubborn. My mother would also remind me what things i need to do or pack for tomorrow,i felt like thanking her for what she done but I would not dare to.When i was doing my homework,some question i don't know how to do or doesn't understand she would try to help me,and say if you don't understand the subject do you want some tuition,i would deny it as i want to save her money because the three meals that the whole family eat every weekdays was she foot and cook so i don't want her ti be using her money. When i grow up i would take care of my mother more than my father and won't let them starve or sick.I wish that they won't die early and be happy all the time as if you are smiling everyday you would not die early.I am glad that i had a mother that suits me best.

The person i admire the most is my brother.when he is in primary school,his study sucks and he is quite fat la i have to say,but now his O level marks is 14 and he is going to ngee ann poly to study.he is from the dance in his school.At first,i also dont know why he join the dance group,but after i ask him, i realise is that his teacher pulled him inside the team of else he would be in tanglin sec basketball team.the weird thing is just after he got the jersey from the basketball coach,the teacher pulled him into dance and he got a free jersey.I have to say that he can absorb what he learn very quickly...my father only showed him once how to make a steak sauce,and after that,he didn't need my father help to make up a very nice dinner.the thing i admire him the most is his attitube towards people.even though people scold him or say bad things behind his back,he will still smile and try to solve what is the problem between him and the people with a smile on his face and not getting angry.comparing him to me,we are almose totally different.if people say things behind my back or say bad things about me,mostly i would get very irritated and try to like...kill the guy...and when it comes to absorbing things,i am way behind him and even though his O level result is lower then my sister,my parents still say my brother is have the best results and improvement among the three of us.i admire him and i also dislike him sometimes.when he came back home late taking a taxi,i must take money downstairs and wait for him.and everytime in the lift,he will do funny stuff like hitting me for no reason and sometimes even act crazy...but among all of that,i still admire him the most...:)

Reflection for the b boys’ match

I did a lot of mistakes in some of the games, for example, miss pass. My passing is not up to standard, but I trying my best to improve in that area. I remember that the first match I did a lot of miss pass and I miss two free throws, to me, we could have won, but it is over. Next I want to talk about my defense, my defense is not up to everyone standard, everyone say that I only know how to offense but don’t know how to defense, I reflect on myself. My defense is not good enough because people pass through me easily. I need improved all these major mistakes that cannot be make in the game. Our B division is over, I trying hard to try my best. But I got these messages to B boys’ , it might be over, but we still have a lost league, let get the champion of the lost league before some of you all graduate. For me, although I have one more year to train, but let this lost league to improve on my skill from the entire mistake I made.

The person I admired most is............ Michael Jordan, although he retired, but in my heart I still think that he is still the best basketball player in the world. He got great skills, he used to be unstoppable. The best part that he impressed me is that he can hang in the air, which can also say that he can fly. I look at the YouTube which showed us video, I searched for some of his video,

This video shows his amazing moves he used to do which inspired me. His finishing move is good although the center had foul him. His penetration in basketball is the best in the history but he can also shoot. He is also a sharp player. Although he can do all these things, he is not really perfect because people did not get the ball in the basket all the time. Now I come to the last part of my essay, he is a great player, but he started with nothing to something. I brought his video a few years ago. The video told me about his story, he don’t use to be an athlete. His coach did not put him in the team because he was short. But he neither gives up on basketball nor himself, he continued to train, he continued to practice and practice. After few years, he suddenly grew very tall, he continued to play and practice. This part of the video showed me that how resilience he was. Beside that, he was also very hard working because everyday he would do extra training and that made him so strong. He got a strong mind set and great skills, that why I admired him. My message to all of you is ……………

Hello everybody, I am Benedict Ong from class 1E2. Who is the person I admired the most? The person I admired the most is my Mother. She does all the houseworks for the family, no matter how tired she is, she will still do the house chores. Whenever I see my mother do house chores, I will sometimes help too.

Every Morning, My mother will wake me up at 6am and get me ready for school. She always make breakfast for me every morning as she is afraid that I will be hungry and theres no time to eat my breakfast. I felt very touched and loved by her. She could just not wake up and let me prepare my own self,why? Because she love me.

Sometimes when I have done wrong things, I tend to think that it is right. My mother will scold me for what I have done, sometimes i will talk back her and ignores what she said. At that time, I thought by ignoring what my mother says, I will be correct. Now, I think that what I have done, is such a disgrace. I felt stupid and dumb. But no matter what I do, my mother will always care about me, always stand by me.

Since I was in my primary school, I started playing computer. There was once when I almost forgotten to go to school, my mother shouted at me and asked me to go to school. I was so frustfrated that I threw something at her and wore my uniform and went to school. I was so disappointed with myself and from that day onwards, I vowed to myself to manage my studies and play time. Thats all !

i am bendict lau from 1e2. The person i admire most would be my mother as she will always work hard to support for our family no matter how hard it is and last year when i took my PSLE my mum quit her job in july as a manager just to stay hope to coach me and help me in my homework.

At first i did not quite like the idea as i had to give up more of my computer time as she would be staying home but slowly after a month or so i began to like her company but i was still not use to her coaching me in my studies as my father would normally do that.

After my PSLE had ended my mother needed to find a job again but it was not easy as she was looking for a high position job as what she had been working before but after a few months of finding and quite alot of interviews my mum finally found a suitable job. she was elated when she as choosen for the job as it offer her a high position job and a good pay.

i am very proud of my mum as she is such a capable woman and mum:)

Hi. I am Yee Loong from 2E3 and today i am going to share with the team the person i admire most from my education life

The person i admire most is my primary 6 teacher, Mdm chua, she helped me pass my PSLE and got into the express stream in secondary school. I am in the express stream thanks to her.

At the beginning of primary 6, i was very lazy and always defy her orders. She advised me many times not to have fun becaue PSLE is coming and we need to focus more on our studies but her words were falled on deaf ears. Than, when mid year exam came up, i flung all my subjects exept english and even got the lowest score for science in the whole primary 6. When she knew about that, i was surprised that she did not get angry but tried to advise me and that gave me a wake up call to work hard. From that day onwards, i promised myself to work hard until PSLE is over.

Thrice a week, mdm chua will give our class supplementary classes and when PSLE was round the corner, we are to stay back everyday for supplementary classes. Than when prelims came, i finally passed all my subjects and was praised by her and told her that i will try my best during PSLE to pass.

Than PSLE came. Before i went into the examination hall, she came to me and said, "Yee Loong, you can do it! Go for it." that sentence gave me a lot of confidence to take the exam.

Than when the results came out, i got a dissapointing score of 194 which i think that it sucks. Than she told me" you have tried your best so it is ok". I thanked her and even gave her a present as a gift of appreciation

Mdm Chua is a teacher that always help students when they are in need and i think that any student who is teached by her will have the heart to study eventually.

Finally, I will not forget Mdm Chua for my entire life

I am Hongyue from 2e4, i am going to share with you about the person that i admire the most. The person i admire the most is WeiSen, I admire him because he is a friend that has a very good attitude. He knows when is the time to joke and when is the time to be serious. During free times or during recess, he is like a joker and always joke around with us, and during training he was like change to another WeiSen, he is very very serious and will get angry sometimes when u do the wrong things. During lesson he is also very serious and tends to joke sometimes but I can see that he is paying attention to what the teacher is trying to teach.

He told me that "you should know when is the time to be seious, and when is the time to joke" he said he was too playful during sec 1 and did not get selected for C Boys last year, so he is very serious during the training because he wants to get into the C Boys this year he want to represent the school to play basketball and i wish him good luck and do his best in playing basketball. After being a friend with him for 1 year I think that WeiSen is someone that can play hard and is a very hardworking. I really admire people who have this kind of attitude like him.

Hello all , I am Wei Sen .. The person I admired most is my mother .. Why do I say so ? My mother has been working for around 15years non-stop and everyday when shes back , she'll still wash the clothes and do some house chores at home . She work around 8hours a day and she didn't complain or whatsoever . Sometimes , I think that some things that my mother were doing is too over , I don't like and sometimes I may even talk back to my mom .Sometimes I may not feel anything but I know , in my mother's heart , as she is scolding me she will feel the pain too .. Which mother in the earth likes to scold their own children . No matter what we did , our mom will always forgive us , this is for sure!
In the past , I don't do any chores at home , I will just come back and play computer and so called SLACK at home .. But now , I did some of the chores willingly .. Not because I was forced to do it , but it is because I've think through for sometime .. If my mother can do this everyday without a complain , why can't I just do ? If we say that we have school in the morning and we're too tired to do the work , don't my mother has work to do so ? I believe that studying is more easier than working . My mother is working many more hours than my time in school and i spent more time at home .. At the time , when i was thinking through , I thought of this point .. Why I can spent the time on computer games , but why can't I spent abit of my time everyday to do some work at home ? So , to those who are still not doing anything at home , its time for you guys to start now!
Not only admiring my mother , but i feel that my mother is very noble too . Sometimes , my mother can even sacrifice something for me and my family . And when my mother is sick , she still insisted to go work but not staying at home to rest . I know , sometimes my mother has a strong front , but actually in her heart .. she is very weak . That was a woman in my family that care alot about me.She will always look after me and make sure i am protected and let me have a sense of secure and i also love her alot.Once i remembered,that was a incident that left me a very deep memory.When i was in primary 1,that woman brought me to a shopping mall for shopping and we rent a trolley to put our groceries.I went up the trolley and i think that it is very safe and think that even i fall down my that woman will also protect me.Unfortunately,when i started playing the trolley.Then i accidentally slipped from the trolley and i landed on the ground.With my head going down first,my head knocked until the floor and blood started coming out from my skull.When that woman knew it she was very panic and asked me if i am okay.She quickly sent me to a nearest clinic,when we reached the clinic she quickly bring me into the room and the doctor starts to help me examine my wound helped me to apply some medcine and told the woman that i was fine and say that i will recover very fast if i rest more at home.That woman was so relieved after hearing this piece of good news,she thaked the doctor again and again.Once there was also one incident that left me a deep memory,when i was in primary 4 i was very naughty and always arguing with that woman.Once i am so angry that i show temper to her and slam the door hard.When she came into my room,she did not scold me instead she told me to control my temper and talked to me for a very long time.In the end i understand that was my fault to show temper and slam the door.From that day onwards,i started to behave myself.The woman i mentioned is none other than my mother,i admire her because she have good patience in children and i hope that next time i grow can also have a good patience to teach my children.

The person I had ever admired the most is my tuition teacher, Mr liu. He is also a student in NUS doing a master degree for English. Every time before tuition class starts ,he had already planned what to do and is also interesting.

In primary school, my English is always that poor. I nearly failed English for the exam ,every year. At that time I cannot even give a example of a "noun" or an "adjective". You might laugh at it because it's all primary 1-2 works. From there, I started thinking English is a boring subject ,not only that , I tend to not do any of the English homework because it's a waste of my time! My school English teacher was angry and scolded me every time when I didn't do my homework. Until then , My parents get to know about it and then they sent me to tuition class.

With my same attitude towards English ,tuition class's homework is still incomplete. Then one day, my tuition teacher was tired about my excuses ,he asked me to stay back in class and to do all my homework. As you expected ,I do it randomly.....
While I am doing my homework ,he tell me alot of thing. He told me why bother to go to tuition class when my parents paid for it and yet not doing homework and more... I try to understand and to listen because it seem to attract me what he is saying while then I really did my homework. After all his words ,I understood half of it. The half of it is enough for me to change.

Again I went for the tuition class , this time I felt something different in the same eerie classroom and with a monster that holds me back after class before, the feeling is like more interested to listen then before. I tried to understand every explanation he made and also appreciate his planning of the class although sometime it is fill up with theory work.

From not knowing the "noun" or an "adjective" standard of me became a person who can write a composition with good descriptive adjective. He didn't give up on me when I already gave up , making me to revive from where I had fallen. He is such a tremendous teacher.

Andy- The person i admire MOST

i am Andy from 2E4. The person i admire the most is my mother. She is such a wonderful mother, taking care of our family members. She everyday work 10 hours per day from Monday to Friday. From 8am - 6pm.

she always wake up at 5am and wake me up for school. Even she is tired, she never shows the tiredness out of her control. I everyday night will have dinner with her and my other family members to build up our relationship. I did not dare to show her attitude, as she is so caring and treat me so well.

Sometimes she scold me as i did something wrong. Sometimes when i talk back, i felt so sorry. I will apologise to her when i talk back to her or did something wrong. Even i did something wrong or talk back to her, she stills take good care of me. I felt so glad at times when i think of my mother. She is so wonderful! I i am so lucky to have such a mother.

Even she is tired of cooking meals for me or lazy go out of house to buy food for me, she will always give me money to go and buy food myself. She had never forget me and my sister in her heart no matter how tired she are.

Hope this year i can get good results and not dissapointing my mother and father. Nowadays i never make her angry before, but the last time i did was in primay 2. :D

i admire my tuition teacher, mr ong he help me in math and English. However i didn't get high mark in my this both test, i make him feel sad but he still carry on teach me till the day i stop the tuition. he make me feel that there will be people supporting me to work hard.

I did really want to give up one day, but the way he teach me make me want to work hard more. He talk to me about his past how he plan his timetable and how to use time usefully so that i am not wasting time. Even he only tutor me for 7 month he still make me think he is the person i admire the most as he make me wan to study more work hard, use my time wisely.

Those make me think that i never spend money to just learn about study but something more valuable than study as it help for the whole lifetime maybe even study can't use for my whole lifetime. i wish to tell my tuition teacher , mr ong thank for those thing to teach me.

Firstly,i am jovi.from 3t1. So the person that i admire the most is my friend andrew he is a good friend to me in the basketball team. Because i stay near him study same class and most important he is quite a joker....Sometimes we scold each and another because of some stupid things like not leaning each him or his another things. So we will scold each another then never talk for 30 to 1 hour. After that then we say sorry to each another again and start to joker again. He every day accompany me to the bus-stop and take the same bus go home because he live near my house. Then after that we say good bye to each another and go to school meet and run morning run together. Say joke again and again. At class we sit quite close to each and another so we can study together and discuss together and complete the homework....And also go training together take bus together. sometimes we will meet each other to the school but very little that we meet together. Sometimes he come late for morning run he will tell us me run how many round ? So i ask tell him that need to run how many round and he will go run in the afternoon run...Now i do not need to tell him already because he is early now like me....Or if when i miss the morning run he will automatically tell me to run how many round. So i will also do thing same things and go run for afternoon run. Sometime i will tell him to play basketball with me and he said can so we play together. At school we will never betray each and another unless we have no choice but to do.
For example: Like getting in trouble...Sometimes we will also discuss about our homework in the school when got self-study. Discuss for examples :Maths our weak subject and science our second weak subject so we discuss and ask teacher to teach us how to do the things that we keep on forgetting and also do not understands. And together we want to produce a good results to let our parents see and we also feel proud that we get good results so we work very hard for the good results.So the person that i admire the most is my good friend Andrew Tan Kok Long..

MY DREAM....

Many people have dreams....some people in the business have dreams of either
being a CEO or a manager.Some people in performing arts want to acheive the best actor
award,for people in sports,they will either have dreams of acheiving team goals or individual
acheivments.For example,a team like JWSS basketball team would willing fight for every ball
even it takes them to break a body part.We have a mindset of:' The ball is mine! ' or ' If you want
to score the basket you must pass me first,but i will let you have a hard time driving into the basket ! '
So they have a dream of acheiving ' W ' ZONE FINALS.However,a team also will have team players
wanting to have dreams like acheivng MVP, Best Defensive Player, or having able to play for Singapore,
wearing the jersey that has a Singapore flag,able to bring glory to our country with every victory of taking
down other countries match after match. As for me......
My dream is to be a guitarist.I am sure most of you all would not know that i have this kind of funny dream.
But i believe that this dream will be able to fulfill if I give all out in practicing my guitar.
Ever since the june holidays,I learnt a few basic chords of the guitar from my friend, together with Weilong,
I hesitated about purchasing a guitar of mine,as I also had another dream of being a better basketball player so I
will not let my teammates and coaches down.After much thinking I decided to purchase my own guitar with accompany
of Weilong.Actually,being a guitarist that can play songs for others to appreciate is a great thing..
there is a feeling of satisfaction,it makes the guitarist to carry on to play more songs for the people...
and that is what i am experiencing now...the feeling is great...=]
Later in the month, I managed to learn a few songs, thanks to my friend,
who is my shifu now.Overall, playing guitar can actually calm down a person's mind and can really destress people's stress.
Last of all , just want to say that many people have different dreams and there is a chinese saying which i

I believe people with dreams know what they are doing about. At least they have aims in life, they would have something to work towards for. My dreams...

I will start with myself when i'm a toddler. I love watching cartoon heroes, i came across some, which makes me feel myself powerful when i've the abilities like them. I see superman, batman, as my dream heroes. I imagine all the skills they have acquired, i would possess it too. I remember i ever put a tower behind my back and i tied to my back, and i would imagine myself flying about.

I am not only dreaming, daydreaming in the primary school time. I realize the dreaming during my milk years were unrealistic, unbelievable, and it was all fiction. And then it came something funny, maybe, i dream myself being a bird, just because it can fly high and feel the cooling breeze, however nightmare appears before me that the bird were shot down, or trapped in the cage. The dreaming about being a bird ended.

And then, i dream myself being a beautiful, colorful fish swimming very freely in the deep blue ocean. All the disadvantages came to my thoughts about the fish you will be caught up by the fisherman and steamed or eaten into the stomach. You think will i still dream of being a fish? NO. Hahas..

Alright, enough of abilities and powerful skills and animal movements. How about being a king?

I thought of becoming the king.. of the jungle, which means being a fierce lion. Hal so handsome, so cool, so fierce but then so carnivore! Ha! No more lion, no more animals, human will do! Being human is the best! ha!

Secondary school life begin and i'm already dreaming about being a top Youth teams because i'm a basketballer. I dream about being the top defender this years. To be 1 of the better player.

For the future, i dream of managing a dream team, means becoming a coach ; As a player now, i feel what i lack of what i need and what things should be done better, a very serious matter. People think that, that is impossible for me, but that won't stop me from working towards my dream. Actually all this are also ambition.

There is a saying : Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.

Lastly, having a dream will also make you a different person. Being the best will be saying, working towards and meeting the target will be saying having a good dream is better than bad dream. Thank you!

My Dream

Everyone have dreams though it could be different from one another. However my dream is something that is simple and ordinary that most people would hope for. And of course, its not daydream. When I grow up, I hope to be a computer specialist or and accountant. This is because I like math and computer. In order for me to reach my goal, I have to study hard, play hard, and also learn hard. Also having a good character is also quite important so that I could befriend with other people easily.
